1. Welcome

This workshop explores three ideas with three complementary learning objectives:

Part 1. The context in which a society helps those in poverty with the following learning objective.
Learning objective 1: Clinicians will recognize the core value of our foundresses' use of financial interventions in helping their clients. This was and is the modern context in which society helps the poor.

Part 2. How Social Workers help the most impoverished, that is poor people with mental health issues with the following learning objective.
Learning objective 2: Clinicians will have defensible and cogent means to assess the value of such interventions. Clinicians will recognize that the most impoverished are most likely to be the most mentally disabled and need the most personalized help.

Part 3. Explore the attitudes and options to help those with mental health issues who are without sufficient resources with the following learning objective.
Learning objective 3: Clinicians will see the potential in their own practice of such interventions. Clients need a helping hand to become as productive as they are capable.

Your feedback will help us refine the delivery of instruction, discover unmet needs, and consolidate support.
